Areas We Cover
Nationwide across the UK, and internationally — with travel costs built into your quote.
We are based in the United Kingdom and perform nationwide, travelling to weddings, Sangeet nights, melas and private events across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. We also take international bookings. Travel costs are calculated and included in your quote up front, so the figure you are given is the figure you pay.
UK-wide Punjabi Entertainment
We are based in the UK and perform nationwide. In practice that means the line-up and the sound equipment travel to you rather than being drawn from whoever happens to be local, so the team you book is the team that turns up, wherever the venue is.
Travel is worked into the quote up front rather than added afterwards, and for longer journeys that figure accounts for overnight accommodation and the extra day it takes. The further the venue, the more the lead time matters — not because we are less likely to say yes, but because the logistics take longer to arrange.
If your venue is not named below, that does not mean we do not cover it. The lists here are the regions we work in most often, not the limits of where we go. Send us the date and venue and we will confirm.
London & South East
London is our busiest region, and it covers two quite different kinds of booking: central hotel and banqueting venues, and the function halls and family homes of the outer boroughs. The central venues usually come with the tighter constraints — noise limiters, fixed curfews, loading restrictions and short set-up windows — so we deal with the venue directly on the technical side rather than leaving it to the family.
Regular areas include: London, Southall, Hounslow, Wembley, Harrow, Ilford, and the surrounding counties including Essex, Kent, Surrey, Hertfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.
Midlands
The Midlands are a regular fixture for both weddings and community events, and the mela and festival work here is a long-standing part of what we do — Reena Kaur has performed at events including Wolverhampton’s Summer Mela. Bookings run from full concert line-ups on a festival stage to a single dhol player for a baraat.
Regular areas include: Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Coventry, Walsall, Leicester, Derby and Nottingham.
North of England
We travel north regularly for weddings and community events. These are usually a full day rather than an evening, so the running order is worth settling early — particularly where a Sangeet and a next-day event sit back to back and the team stays over between them.
Regular areas include: Manchester, Leeds, Bradford, Preston, Bolton, Liverpool, Huddersfield and Sheffield.
Scotland
Scottish bookings are welcome and we take them regularly. They involve a longer journey and almost always an overnight stay, both of which are set out in the quote rather than discovered later. Enquire earlier than you would for an English venue, because the travel arrangements have to be locked in before the date can be.
Regular areas include: Glasgow, Edinburgh and the central belt, with the rest of Scotland on enquiry.
Wales
We perform across Wales, most often in the south where the largest Punjabi and South Asian communities are. Venues in mid and north Wales are covered too, though the travel time is the thing to plan around rather than the distance on a map.
Regular areas include: Cardiff, Newport and Swansea, with the rest of Wales on enquiry.
Northern Ireland
Northern Irish bookings involve flights and freighting the equipment, so they are quoted individually and need the most lead time of any UK region. They are entirely doable — they just cannot be arranged at short notice in the way a Midlands booking can.
Regular areas include: Belfast and surrounding areas, with the rest of Northern Ireland on enquiry.
International Bookings
We perform internationally and have travelled for destination weddings and events abroad. International bookings are quoted individually, covering travel, accommodation, and any equipment or local supplier arrangements needed at the destination — it is often more practical to hire sound locally than to freight it, and we will tell you which applies to your venue.
If you are planning an event outside the UK, get in touch as early as you can. International bookings have more moving parts than domestic ones, and the lead time is what makes them straightforward rather than fraught.
